- Flowers: The red colour of the flower is reduced. Pal is a series of multiple alleles. Only pal+ pal+ have a normal red colour.
palrec palrec plants have ivory coloured flowers with more or less numerous stripes of the colour found in pal+ plants. These are somatic bach mutations. Depending whether the back mutation is early or
late the stripes become smaller or bigger.
